I first met Stephen Murray of Design Integrity at one of our Networking Events and it was at one of the events when he asked me whether I’d ever thought of re-designing Down South Liverpool’s website.
To be fair, I’m asked that quite a lot by web designers who come to the events. I’ve worked in marketing communications for over 25 years so when Stephen started to talk to me about the brand, he got my attention.
We set a date to meet at Design Integrity’s office in The Tempest Building on the city centre’s Tithebarn Street. They say first impressions can be everything and this quirky, cool workspace speaks volumes.
Stephen asks lots of probing questions to get to the heart of the Down South Liverpool brand and as he explains his thoughts and ideas, it’s very clear he understands how I want to strengthen its value and to communicate that value to my members. We agree next steps and part company whilst Design Integrity create the structure of the website.
When I return a couple of weeks later, I’m delighted with the progress they’ve made. It’s clear they’ve grasped the brand personality but the structure of the website is also so well linked and easy to navigate. They’ve also come up with ideas and ways to promote the Business Club members, their news, offers and events and for this special spotlight feature for our premium members.
Over the coming weeks, I write the text for the site as they continue to build it and we fine tune all the details in advance of unveiling it at the networking event on 25th September.
Design Integrity’s own website states ‘We ambitiously craft your uniqueness’. Have they? I think so but I guess our members will be the real judge!
