LHK Productions sign Panto deal with The Atkinson

Cinderella Christmas Pantomime will open December 2020
LHK Productions have announced they have signed a new Panto deal with The Atkinson in Southport and will launch with Cinderella for Christmas 2020.

The production will be the first Christmas Panto at The Atkinson since the iconic building re-launched in 2013 and will run from 11th December 2020 – 2nd January 2021.

LHK Productions managing director, Lee Kelly said:

“We are delighted to be teaming up with The Atkinson. We began producing Panto here over ten years ago so it’s amazing to be returning and we can’t wait to get started.

“The audience can can expect to see some famous faces alongside regular panto pro’s Claire Simmo (Greatest Hits Radio), Michael Chapman (Liverpool’s favourite Dame), Lewis Pryor (Britain’s Got Talent 2016) and Holli Jo Bradley (choreographer). The full cast announcement will be made in Summer 2020.“

“With our 15 years’ theatre & pantomime experience, I can guarantee a spellbinding experience with a professional cast, live orchestra, lavish sets and exquisite costumes. Cinders, her wicked Stepmother, a jealous stepsister or two, the Fairy Godmother, Buttons and Prince Charming will all make an appearance in this magical new production.”

Cinderella is set to be a highlight in Southport’s 2020 festive programme as Sefton celebrates its Borough of Culture year. Tickets will go on general sale in December 2019 with Family Ticket offers, generous Group Booking discounts and special offers for Schools with teachers going free.

David Eddy, Localities Team Manager North for Sefton Council said:

“The collaboration with LHK provides a brilliant opportunity for The Atkinson to contribute to the growth of Sefton’s economy over the festive period.”

Charlotte Down, Marketing & Sales Officer at The Atkinson said:

“The Atkinson has a fantastic relationship with local families, schools and youth groups. We are working hard to extend our family offer and Cinderella will be the first of many festive pantomimes staged in our traditional Theatre.”
